OneChurch ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account and use OneChurch, we collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
- Profile information: church name, service time, location (city), work area, company, church teams, interests, bio, and profile photo — all provided voluntarily by you.
- Content you create: posts, comments, messages, photos, events, and groups.
- Connection data: your neighbour connections and group memberships.
- Push notification tokens: to deliver notifications to your device.
- Crash and performance data: anonymous error reports collected via Sentry to help us fix bugs and improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the OneChurch app.
- Enable you to connect with other users, send messages, join groups, and attend events.
- Send push notifications for messages, connection requests, event invitations, and other activity.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues using anonymous crash reports.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies enforced at the database level. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not display advertising. Your data is only shared in these limited ways:
- Other users: Your profile information, posts, and group activity are visible to other OneChurch users as part of the app's community features.
- Service providers: We use Supabase (database/auth), Sentry (crash reporting), and Expo (push notifications) to operate the app. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data through the app at any time.
- Edit your profile and content at any time.
- Delete your account and all associated data. To request account deletion, contact us at support@onechurch.app or use the account deletion option in the app's Settings.
6. Children's Privacy
OneChurch is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
